life skills

Our Life Skills program operates in the Moreton Bay Region for young women aged 15-25 years old.

The challenging circumstances that many young mums grew up in may have limited their opportunities to develop life skills that others take for granted. Our Life Skills program builds their capacity, connects them to wider services and equips them to live and parent well.

Life Skills Program

In this capacity-building program, a group of teenage or young mothers meet fortnightly for 6 months to develop a range of skills.

It’s a person-centred, judgement-free, supportive environment.

Young mums connect with their peers and discover pathways to various education and employment streams that A Brave Life has partnered with.

Throughout our Life Skills program, teenage and young mothers will be able to build social connections within the Moreton Bay Region, whilst being equipped to develop their own inner resources to sustain an independent life within the community and raise the future generations.
